Annual Diocesan Mission Appeal: Saturday 7/27 and Sunday 7/28 2018

Brother Hamilton, guest speaker at St. Michael’s and St. Theresa’s Mass Sunday 7/28/2018

I am originally from the Diocese of Rochester (Irondequoit, St. Thomas the Apostle) and graduated from Bishop Kearney High School, before joining the Edmund Rice Christian Brothers/Congregation of Christian Brothers.  I am presently living and teaching at All Hallows High School, in the South Bronx, NY and am part of a “missionary awareness team” that visits parishes in order to speak with the people about the missionary efforts of the Christian Brothers.   The Edmund Rice Christian Brothers of North America are responsible for the missions in Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, the island country of Dominica and the domestic mission at Guadalupe Regional Middle School in Brownsville, Texas.  We thank for your time and generosity and will continue to remember you in our thoughts and prayers.

There will be a special second collection (not included in regular donation envelope mailings) during these masses. Any questions, please call the Parish Office.

How Things Work? Submitting Bulletin Material
Would you like to submit material for the OLOL bulletin? Whenever space allows, we are happy to include information about OUR LADY OF THE LAKES RELATED ACTIVITIES (and their ministries).  The  deadline for submitting material is MONDAY AT 10AM for the following Sunday.  All material is subject to the approval of the pastor so please send it the week before. Deadlines are subject to change for holidays and vacations so it doesn’t hurt to get it in early or call and check. Bulletin items should be less than 150 words. Any questions? Call Melissa at the Parish Office 315-536-7459 and she can try to answer them.
