Been Away From the Church?
So you haven't been to church in a while. Whether you have already joined us as we celebrate Mass or are just thinking about it, we are glad to be here for you. Each of us has his or her own story. Whatever your story is, if you have reached this point, it means your heart is opening to the Holy Spirit reaching out to you, and we welcome you as the father welcomed the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32). We welcome with open arms, for heaven rejoices at every lost sheep that returns home (Luke 15:1-7).
Maybe you wonder what you should do first. The first step is simple. Come and join us as we celebrate Mass. Of course, that might not be as simple as it sounds. Perhaps you don't feel worthy. That's OK. Jesus has died for our sins and he makes us ready, cleansing us of our sins in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Maybe you have questions. We are happy to meet with you in person to help you find answers. Whether your questions are about changes in the church or your own life and where God fits in, please don't hesitate to ask. You can speak to us after Mass, e-mail us, or give us a call at 315-536-7459. If you are not Catholic but might like to become Catholic, check out our RCIA.
Come and join us! Be sure and check out our page for new parishioners.
