You Count!

It’s estimated that less than 20% of the population within our parish boundaries has completed and returned the US Census.  This is a huge danger for a brighter future.  Census data is used to form election districts and appropriate State and Federal funding.  Click here to view a short video about it.  Letters were mailed in February to homes asking residents to respond online or call toll-free 1-844-330-2020 to submit their census information.  Already responded?  Great!  Take it a step farther by making it a topic of conversation when checking on neighbors and friends while riding out the pandemic.  If posting on social media, use #2020Census or #shapeyourfuture.  We are all in this together!
